To advertise along Texas highways, there are several rules and regulations established by the State. If your outdoor, sign, display, light, device, figure, painting, drawing, message, plaque, placard, poster, billboard, logo or symbol, or any other thing that is designed, intended, or used to advertise or inform, or is any part of the advertising or information contents is visible from any place on the main-traveled way of a highway, then you will need a Texas Outdoor Advertiser Permit. In addition to the permit, you will need to check with all local and state zoning laws.
